Okay, so Sadie isn't really reading, but she has suddenly shown a huge interest in her books. She will pick one out from her little shelf, pat it and look up at me (prompting me to read it).
Here, she flips through her Happy Baby, 1-2-3 while I fix breakfast.
What fun we have together! I'm excited to spend more time reading with you, my little gumdrop!
Since we have been out of town quite a bit lately, we decided to be at home for the 4th. How nice!
Saturday: TIMBERS camp for dinner Afterward, Sadie went exploring.
under the table that is
as you can see, she is now pulling up on EVERYTHING
"hello, Mommy"
singing to the table leg
SUNDAY: 11 am church service, then Sam's club (hot dogs, plus a few groceries)
Jason shoveling in some mango and rice cereal
Then, we crashed. Naps in the afternoon, early dinner, I met my sweet friend Brooke for ice cream, then listened to the fireworks at home (there were PLENTY on our street since we are outside of the city limits...and as of last night, some were still celebrating)
Sadie and I traveled down to Houston to visit Mimi & Poppa over Memorial Day, since Jason was over in Baton Rouge (go first week of Base Camp!) Carys, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Barry were there too!
we visited Sadie's great grandmother, Titee
