Sadie had her one year check up yesterday, which included shots (booooo!) and
an head- to- toe update:

Weight: 19 lbs. 9 oz (28th percentile)
Height: 30 inches (75th percentile)

She is growing so quickly!


Speech: She can now say: "Mama", "Da-Da", "Poppa", "mill" (milk), "no-no","ball" and "book", and her favorite "doh" (dog)

Sound: She also knows the sounds that these animals make: dog, cow, sheep,
snake, and fish

Signs: She signs for Milk, More, All Done; this week, we are working on PLEASE

Teeth: Sadie is up to nine (including one BIG molar!)

and the latest development.....Sadie is walking! She took her first steps two weeks ago, and now takes three or four at a time, especially toward Daddy.

ONE YEAR AGO, Sadie Jane Wallace was born! I cannot believe it...and yet we have had thousands of precious moments with her since this time last September when she came into the world.

As some of you know, our journey to having Sadie was not an easy one, and yet God blessed us through that entire (long) process.
Just when we were at peace with waiting for another or maybe longer, He blessed us with Sadie...(or our "tiny favorite", or Sugar Muffin, as we sometimes call her).
Here's a quick glance back at our little girl:

Summer ends

Though summer has been over for a month, we have been traveling (as you know)

We flew back from Colorado then, we drove to Columbus, to Crier Creek family camp
we ate a lot at Crier Creek...everything is so yummy!

Now that we have comptuter access again (traveling QUITE a bit lately)...here is the latest:

VAIL, days 2 through 4
Enjoyed the pool (on the roof!)

then off to Crier Creek for Pine Cove Retreat Season orientation

Colorado!

We are finally on vacation! First, we flew into Denver, then drove to Fort Collins to see our best buds - the Easterhaus fam!
