As our pansies have faded, new blooms have opened up this week.
pretty hydrangeas in the front , beneath the windows
(these are my new favorite)
and our lone rose bush on the side of the house, by the garage
And as for Sadie...
We have been trying to give her some new flavors and textures this week.
First up, strawberries!

got to get that last little bit...
Now for the real thing. I cut up (and slightly mashed) some more strawberries yesterday, for her first REAL taste of "solid" fruit.
they were sticky, yet interesting
but she got a few (in both hands)
success!
