My sweet friend, Kristen traveled down south (to Mexico) for a destination wedding of one of her long-time friends....so WE (my mom, Jason, Sadie & I) got to have Georgia
(or Gigi, as Sadie says) "What?! Did someone say my name?" (check out those delicious arms).
(That's her!) She got to stay & play with us, during the day, for five whole days. Yippee! Staring at herself in the camera
Sadie, hanging out on the playground (Gigi was napping)
No, we did not really get into the NCAA tournament this year. Our month was crazy...and ridiculously fun. With some warm weather, we ventured outside more than usual. Sadie continued her fascination with bubbles. --------------------------- The Easterhaus fam came to visit for a whole week! and played hard. We love them so very much - these are our people. We ate A LOT of meals and snacks together
as demonstrated by Rowan: apparently PB & J is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. ---------------------------------- On Tuesday night the girls, (Meaghan & I, plus Kristen Hanvey and our buddy, Nicole Hager from Oklahoma) headed out for dinner on the town, then a sleepover in Evergreen, at Pine Cove. One of the few pictures we girls took together. Here's Meaghan with adorable Georgia (Hanvey). ---------------------------------------- Then, Ama (my mom) came to visit while Jason was gone. She & Sadie explored McDonald's playground and "cleaned" (or 'bak-ooom', as Sadie says).
April has been good & busy too, so I'll work hard to keep this baby current!
So, I have done a terrible job keeping this current this last MONTH. We had the Easterhaus Texas visit, trips to Houston, Jason traveling, a new car, Sadie's first time in the sprinklers (and some major bumps & bruises) and Sadie is now 18 months old! Here are a few quick quips before the detailed posts begin. Sadie & Jason listened to some jams
played with Ama (my mom) while Jason traveled
After eight years... we bid "Adieu" to my Rodeo.
Good-bye little red Rodeo. You were a great car! (Sold on Craig's list)
In celebration of (and preparation for) Valentine's Day, Sadie and I embarked on our first real attempt at coloring. We did not have crayons (I was high school teacher, remember)
